@Pavelzamora It TAKES PLACE before Dead Space 360/PS3/PC, but was released around 2 years after Dead Space’s Initial Release.

@Primogen18 The reason why extraction comes along for Ps3 is that Dead Space Never came out on the Wii..
And Extraction is the actual story of the Dead Space Genre..

i think the colony was a big big expirament to see what the marker effects woald do to the humans

@uTonceig Yeah, but the atmosphere isn’t the same either, you’re always in a group of two or more, and everybody talks. The silence, the creepy music, and pop out necromorph moments are what scared me, in this game, you actually have time to react. Since you have free movement in DS, IMO, it scares me even more when I run away and still see the slasher on my ass. But each man to his own I suppose.
@Hayseboi1 in Dead Space, you freeze them, move some steps back and shoot them down from a save distance, who can terrify this? Here you have them right in front of you. And no way out.

@uTonceig Nope, the graphics don’t make it as scary and that’s the point, you can’t run away, you can only go one direction, forward. It’s scarier if you have the choice to run

From what i understand, Tha Marker is a human engineered object that was built to copy the original marker on Earth. But the scientist screwed up and this thing turned people into the necromorphs so they quantined it on this planet hoping it wouldnt be found.

@Zoza15 so you think that all core gamers should be able to just go out and spend $300+ on a new system, plus Live subscriptions and bullshit like that? Some of us bought Wii because it was cheaper (and it had RE4- greatest game in the history of gaming)…
@uTonceig you may be onto something… But I think the scariest things in videogame history are the Tyrant fights in the old Resident Evils- those things JUST. WON’T. DIE!!!!!
