I got this for christmas when it came out it was a combo with my GameCube I beat this game like 3+ times and never got tired..now I have Mario Kart DS and I am so happy to be racing again I really want the wii one though

2003.. Man, time flies. The thing I actually liked most about Double Dash was the kart designs. xD Don’t ask why. Cause I dunno either. It’s definitely one of my favorite Mario Karts I’ve played though.

Anyways, I just bought this game about a week ago and I have to say, it is still is just as much fun as the first time i got to try it when I was ten years old. In my opinion, it is flat out the best game ever for the entire Mario Kart series.

This was a terrible review. You spent almost no time talking about Double Dash . You talked about other MK games, constantly comparing them and you talked about Star Wars and dragging Yoshi. I got fed up with listening to you, so I skipped around the video a lot. I have no idea whether you mentioned the co-op, multiplayer, special items, shortcuts, unlockables, driving feel, pathetic/cheap AI.

@TheTribes44, yes, because, chronologically, the GameCube was released BEFORE the Wii, and as such, the only option is to use a GCN controller for a GCN game, like this, Mario sunshine, or Zelda the wind waker.
